RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is hiring a Staff Accountant to join their team in Natick, MA. This company is well-known in the retail/manufacturing industry. The expected schedule is hybrid 3 days in-office: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in office, remote Monday/Friday. Duties:

• Maintain financial records


• Prepare reports


• Assist in the financial management of the retail business


• General ledger maintenance


• Financial reporting


• Transaction processing


• Audit support - assist in internal and external audits


• Collaboration - working with other finance departments including sales, and operations


• Working knowledge of new accounting standards and provide input for global accounting policies


• Prepare and review monthly accounts reconciliations utilizing accounting software tools

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred


• 1+ years of public or industry experience


• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.


• Able to identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting practices and contribute to the development of efficient workflows

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
