LJB Engineering is a national, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm with four main practices: Water/Civil, Transportation, Buildings Structure Design and Safety/Fall Protection Design/Installation. Our diverse expertise, client base, and geographies have enabled LJB to serve clients in all 50 U.S. states and several countries.


We are looking to add a Talent Acquisition Specialist to our Recruiting team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our talent acquisition efforts. You will work closely with the HR team and hiring managers to attract and select top-tier talent for our organization.



Pay: 45,000 - 65,000



TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the basic qualifications for open positions. Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates' suitability for further consideration.

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Communicate interview details and gather feedback from interviewers.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process. Respond promptly to inquiries, provide updates on application status, and deliver rejection notifications professionally and courteously.

  • Utilize our HRIS to track candidate progress, maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records, and generate reports on recruitment metrics as needed.

  • Assist in identifying and implementing effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates. This may involve utilizing online job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and other recruitment channels.

  • Ability to occasionally travel to attend networking and career fairs

  • Other duties as assigned.


TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:



  • 2-3 years of recruiting experience required.

  • Strong experience sourcing candidates required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in candidate records and correspondence.

  • Time Management: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS/ATS.
