Location: Hybrid (Monthly meetings at Mass General Brigham Headquarters, Assembly Row, Somerville, MA, and regional travel as needed)



Position Summary:

Are you passionate about driving meaningful change and enhancing healthcare processes? Join us as an Improvement Specialist under the supervision of the Director of Performance and Patient Access. You'll play a pivotal role in implementing Lean methodologies across our organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and collaborating with providers, staff, and senior leadership to achieve impactful results.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Facilitate Lean improvement initiatives and conduct baseline assessments (5S achievement, education, etc.).

  • Organize and support improvement events like Rapid Process Improvement Workshops and Kaizen Events.

  • Educate and train staff at all levels on Lean principles and methodologies.

  • Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, implement changes, and report outcomes to senior leadership.

  • Facilitate teams, manage meetings, and help guide stakeholders through change management processes.

  • Represent Mass General Brigham by participating in committees, offering expertise in Lean practices, and coaching teams to success.






Qualifications

Qualifications:




Required: High school diploma or GED. At least 1 year of healthcare experience. Bachelors Degree preferred. Must have demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and team-building skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant software.
