We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Superintendent to join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing K12, healthcare, and heavy manufacturing projects. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
Allocate resources for assigned projects.
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
Maintain high standards of quality construction that adhere to original plans and specifications.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Commercial Superintendent.
Extensive experience in K12, healthcare, and heavy manufacturing projects.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites.
Familiarity with construction management software packages.
The ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role.
OSHA certification is a plus.
Benefits:
Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $130,000.
