JOB DESCRIPTION

Chubb's Financial Lines division offers management liability, cyber liability, and professional liability insurance products to companies in a broad variety of industries in the not-for-profit, privately held and public company sectors. Our unit is built upon strong underwriting expertise, market stability and capacity, exceptional claims service, financial strength and a large number of product offerings.

Be a part of an established leader within commercial Errors & Omissions and Cyber Liability insurance. This underwriting position supports the achievement of established goals related to profitable growth, customer service, and maintaining producer relationships of the Underwriting Service Branch (USB). The primary responsibility is to underwrite individual commercial risks within the new business team (NBS), focusing on Professional Liability/E&O and Cyber insurance products.

Scope:

• Understand the fundamentals of insurance coverage, terms and conditions
• Cultivating relationships with agents and brokers while using relationship to place business with Chubb
• Marketing Chubb's competitive advantages in the marketplace and negotiating pricing and terms and conditions in a competitive marketplace that meet the customer's needs and positions Chubb to achieve a profit
• Identify, analyze, and assess risk exposures, special or common hazards, and appropriate control
• Ability to base communications on strategic thinking and problem solving
• Ability to use systems and software programs needed to conduct daily business
• Ability to analyze claims and quantify losses

• Determines terms and conditions and utilizes complex rating plans
• Bind coverage
• Documents the underwriting files
• Handles an assigned territory/book of business
