Description: Our client is currently seeking a Buyer II This position is an onsite position in Huntsville, AL - MUST be local This is a W2 3 month contract with potential extensions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
2-3 years of applicable experience required.
Required Industry Experience: Aerospace or Automotive.
Required Experience:
Buyer who has fully managed a commodity end-to-end (raw material, COTS, buy parts, etc.).
Experience working with project managers.
Experience predicting material needs 1-2 months in advance.
Experience procuring long lead items.
Experience with RFQs/RFPs/RFIs, PO processing, expediting, and full accountability for their commodity.
Knowledgeable about MRP systems (any system is acceptable). CostPoint experience is a plus.
