Position Summary:

As a Registered Nurse at our Health Center, you will be responsible for delivering both direct and indirect nursing care. This includes patient care, health maintenance, education, counseling, and planning to ensure optimal functioning and comfort. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of the department’s immediate needs and long-term growth goals, as well as the ability to demonstrate initiative, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and effective teamwork.

Sign-On Bonus:

  • $10,000 sign-on bonus for all new full-time RNs (prorated for part-time and per diem positions).

Key Responsibilities:



  • Patient Assessment: Obtain patient history and perform necessary tests and observations.


  • Communication: Relay information to the patient’s provider and educate patients on test results, care plans, new medications, and any changes to their current medication regimen.


  • Clinical Judgment: Exhibit sound clinical judgment and decision-making when triaging patients both over the phone and in-person.


  • Medication Administration: Administer medications, tests, and treatments safely and effectively as prescribed.


  • Patient Education: Teach patients and their families about healthcare regimens, including disease management, wellness strategies, test results, medication use, diet, exercise, and overall care plans.

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

  • Completion of an Accredited Nursing Program.

  • RN Licensure in Massachusetts.

  • BLS Certification

  • Preferred: 1 year of relevant nursing experience in community health and/or ambulatory care settings.

Schedule & Pay:



  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:15 pm with evening and holiday rotation


  • Pay: Starts at $35.58 up to $55.14 depending on experience
