Basic Job Functions:



This individual will be responsible for building and enhancing systems that support our global product group, and division business requirements. TheRaw MaterialsBusiness Analystwill work to drive project initiatives as it relates to systems application implementation and execution of business solutions. These activities include but are not limited to, business requirements analysis, data conversions, solutioning, troubleshooting, and system testing all while serving as liaison between our steel making divisions and the NBTTeam.


This is a fulltime, permanent position with the Nucor Business Technology team based in Irving, TX. Teammate preferred location is Dallas but may be based in Charlotte or Nucor division with the agreement of that division. Project related overnight travel as needed, up to 50%.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in at least one of the following functional areas
  
  
  • Purchasing, Finance, Raw Materials, Melt Shop Production
  
  
  
  


• Two years' experience working in a steel manufacturing environment


• Experience working with an ERP and/or MESsystems


• Proficient in the use ofcomputer software applicationssuch asExcel, Word, PowerPoint

• Experience working directly with one or more of the following:
  
  
  • Oracle E-Business Suite
  
  
  • Quad Infotec - QMOS
  
  
  • PSI Metals - ERP
  
  
  
  


• Undergraduate Degree
