Job Details:



SUMMARY: The position holder will work in a variety of poultry production positions in order to become familiar with the various parts of the production process. They will also gain exposure to operation support departments such as Accounting, Safety, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, etc.


Our Interns are expected to contribute to our success through innovative ideas and value creation. Based on successful performance and the talent needs of our business, Interns may have the opportunity to become full-time Tyson Team Members.


REQUIREMENTS:


Education: Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university required. Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or Business degree preferred with at least one year of school remaining.


Experience: Previous work experience of any kind is preferred.


Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.

Position-Specific Requirements: This internship is year-round role where selected candidate is expected to work part-time (20 hours/week) during the school year and full-time (40 hours per week) This internship is located at the Tyler Road Plant and requires the selected candidate to be able to work onsite.
