A manufacturing and sales company in the Hartford County, Maryland area seeks a highly qualified Senior Staff Accountant
Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries on a monthly basis
Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
Perform bank reconciliations
Complete month-end processing
Prepare monthly reports and schedules
Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree for Accounting
Skills:
10+ years' experience in accounting preferred
Highly proficient in Excel
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Able to read and understand financial reports
Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
