Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the team.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

  • Perform general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.

  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Review and ensure accuracy in all journal entries.

  • Analyze and report on financial data to assist management with strategic decision-making.

  • Assist with audits by preparing documentation and supporting schedules.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.

  • Prepare and maintain fixed asset schedules.

  • Coordinate and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.

  • Assist in process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Experience with financial statement preparation and audit processes.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
