Position overview:
Assist in preparation of annual budget and forecasts.
Ensure the timely payment of invoices.
Post journal entries, cash receipts, and billings to the general ledger.
Prepare the monthly reconciliation of key general ledger accounts to subsidiary ledgers for the following: work in progress (WIP), inter-company receivable/payable, property and equipment, investments in consolidated subsidiaries, notes receivable/payable, capital accounts and key revenue and expense accounts.
Update each entities work papers with the financial activity for the month.
Reconcile bank and investment statements for assigned accounts.
Generate financial statements to be reviewed by the Director of Accounting and VP of Finance, distribute monthly financial statements to the appropriate department heads and CPA firm.
Maintain real estate tax schedule and ensure the timely payment of all real estate tax bills.
Prepare monthly reports submitted to public partners.
Assist the Director of Accounting and VP of Finance with any special assignments as needed.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned, if deemed necessary, by the Company.
