Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Administrator for a confidential commercial construction client in Laurel. This position plays a crucial role in supporting project managers and ensuring the successful execution of various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist project managers in planning, executing, and finalizing construction projects according to deadlines and within budget.
Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
Track project schedules and budgets, providing updates and reports to management.
Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication.
Assist in procurement processes, including sourcing materials and equipment.
Monitor project progress and address any administrative issues that arise.
Support compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in project administration or support in the construction industry.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and regulations is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
