Infosys is seeking a Java full stack Developer with React Experience- In the role you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position requires travel to project locations three days in a week.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
Experience in Design and develop microservices using Spring Cloud.
Experience in Implementing and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 years of proven experience as a Spring Cloud Developer.
At least 5 years strong proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Spring Cloud Config.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
