The KU Small Business Development Center is seeking a FT 12 month Business Consultant. This full-time Grant-funded position is responsible to provide strategic business and financial planning assistant to emerging and high growth entrepreneurs throughout the PA SE & SC region.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in business or related field * Two years of experience with small ownership leadership/ownership with strategic decision-making authority. * Ability to perform financial analysis and interpretation of data analytics. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM experience and project management software. * Ability to travel within Pennsylvania.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bilingual (Spanish business a plus) * MBA with a concentration in finance, marketing, strategic planning, entrepreneurship, or accounting * Working knowledge of AI tools * A specialty focus in one of the following disciplines: international trade, cybersecurity, social media marketing and/or B2B marketing experience. Commercial lending experience a plus. * Experience working with underserved entrepreneurs * Experience in a CBA work setting
