Scientific Research Assistant, PCORI PTEpidemiology

Location: New Orleans, LA

Summary

The Scientific Research Assistant aids the principal investigator, field coordinator, and clinical research coordinator to recruit, retain, and collect data for a pediatric asthma research study. Additional responsibilities include telephone calls, administering questionnaires, conducting interviews, and assisting with a variety of other study related tasks. This position requires occasional work on Saturday.

Required Qualifications

* High School Diploma or Equivalent* 1 year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working on a research study or in a health clinic is preferred but not required.* Experience with economically and socially marginalized populations.* Competent with technology (MS Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint; Outlook)
