Overview:
The School of Business at Quinnipiac University invites applications for two full-time tenure-track positions as Assistant Professor of Business Analytics and Information Systems (BAIS) with an expected start date of Fall 2025. Priority will be given to applicants with backgrounds in Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. However, candidates will be expected to teach courses in the more traditional areas as needed.
BAIS faculty are expected to teach in both traditional classroom and online modalities, and to incorporate innovative pedagogical approaches into their teaching. You will be involved in research, teaching, and knowledge transfer/impact in the field of BAIS, broadly defined. The faculty of the BAIS Department have diverse research interests, covering a wide range of topics including Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Healthcare Analytics, Future of Work, Cybersecurity, and IS Curriculum.

About the Department:
The BAIS department offers three undergraduate B.S. degrees in Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems, and a dual degree in CIS/Accounting. In addition, the department offers an M.S. in Business Analytics. The department also supports graduate courses in the MBA and Professional MBA programs and has a strong focus on applied learning for its approximately 190 undergraduate BAIS majors. There are two student organizations within the BAIS Department, the BAIS Society and the Blockchain@QU. The mission of the BAIS Department is to: 1) build students' core competencies in the areas of business analytics and computer information systems through engaged learning and real-world applications; 2) prepare students for successful careers; and 3) empower students to find ways to use their knowledge, skills and abilities to positively contribute to their organizations and communities
