Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Student Accounts Coordinator- Boca Raton, FL.



Summary of Responsibilities include:



  • Supports daily operations within the Tuition and Billing Services (TBS) department, including collections, billing, reconciliations, waivers/exemptions and software integrations.

  • Assists in maintaining and troubleshooting Banner, Workday, and third-party software applications related to TBS.

  • Coordinates with the Controller's Office Taxation and Compliance department for the 1098T preparation and reporting process.

  • Provides basic financial analysis on accounts receivable collections performance and supports reporting needs.

  • Helps maintain reconciled records of billing, collections, third-party payments, and other financial transactions.

  • Collaborates with departments like IT, Admissions, Registrar, and Financial Aid to resolve system-related issues and ensure smooth operations.

  • Supports efforts to improve processes and policies by identifying inefficiencies and collaborating with other departments to find solutions.

  • Assists with customer service inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high standards of service.

  • Provides documentation and support for internal and external audits related to student receivables and other financial activities.

  • Completes other job-related duties and projects as assigned by leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.

Knowledge of Ellucian Banner Student highly preferred.
Salary:$60,000 per year.
