Position Summary

The University of Alabama School of Law seeks to fill up to five tenure-track positions for the 2025-26 academic year. Qualified candidates with expertise in any of the following fields will be considered: criminal law, business (all sub-fields), intellectual property, and civil procedure.



Detailed Position Information

The University of Alabama School of Law seeks to fill up to five tenure-track positions for the 2025-26 academic year. Candidates must have outstanding academic credentials, including a J.D. from an accredited law school or an equivalent degree (such as a Ph.D. in a related field). Qualified candidates with expertise in any of the following fields will be considered: criminal law, business (all sub-fields), intellectual property, and civil procedure. We welcome applications from candidates who approach scholarship from a variety of perspectives and methods.
