The Executive Director serves as a key leader and spokesperson for the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society (IIES) at Dartmouth. The Executive Director reports to the Institute's Faculty Director. The Faculty Director and Executive Director will work in partnership on behalf of the Institute and Dartmouth College to advance understanding of the world's energy challenges and accelerate the transition to a low- and no-carbon energy system. The Executive Director will serve as a catalyst to organize and synergize research initiatives, academic programs, collaborations among faculty, and outreach to the world of energy and society.
