(Contingent upon available funding): 14.50 - 22.00, Hourly Work Schedule: 8am to 5pm unless necessary to work early and late in order to complete program financial deadlines. Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: The Research and Financial Services (RFS) Office in the Spears School of Business (SSB) is a centralized function, dedicated to all aspects of the School's financial operations. This position primarily provides support for the SSB Outreach departments.Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serving as the procurement agent for SSB Outreach department including purchases via P/Card and OK Corral ensuring that purchases are made in accordance with state and university policies and procedures


Serving as a resource for Outreach P-Card cardholders, interpreting state and university policies and procedures on procurement issues


Monthly reconciliation of SSB Outreach accounts and deposits for related state accounts.


Preparation of OSU Foundation vouchers for Outreach departments


Processing frequent state and foundation deposits for Outreach departments, HTM restaurants, and HTM special eventsInitiative, Accuracy, and a customer-service attitude are essential. Required Qualifications: 

High School/GED

Two years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping or related areas.

Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.

Knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, fund accounting principles, and federal and state regulations. Strong analytical abilities. Computer experience, particularly with spreadsheet and database programs. Ability to accomplish tasks without supervision using discretion and independent judgment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to approach complex task in a well-organized, detailed-oriented, and efficient manner.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting or related field.

Five years' experience. Prior OSU administrative, financial and management experience.

Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks.
