Position SummaryThe College of Business at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks applicants for one tenure-track position starting Fall 2025. Rank is at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants should demonstrate the ability and qualifications commensurate with the rank of Assistant Professor. Upon hiring, they are also expected to show successful and ongoing involvement in the Department and the College's research, undergraduate, and graduate programs.

About the Department of MarketingThe Department of Marketing (

) has 15 faculty members. It provides a very collegial environment for research and teaching. The Agribusiness Program and the Center for Sales Excellence are also housed in the department, offering resources and opportunities for collaboration with industry partners.

Minimum Required Qualifications:



  • Ph.D. in marketing or a related discipline from an AACSB or equivalent accredited School or College of Business at the time of the appointment.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research aimed at top-tier marketing journals.

  • Research in the domain of managerial marketing (e.g., marketing strategy, B2B, sales).

  • Ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

  • Experience and credentials commensurate with the rank of Assistant Professor.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Either manuscripts under review or high-quality drafts in preparation for submission.
