Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include teaching courses, developing curriculum, advising and registering students, course scheduling, and program marketing.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

This position requires an associate degree in aircraft maintenance or a related area. FAA airframe and powerplant certificates are also required.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred applicants will have two (2) years of teaching experience in post-secondary education. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge and experience in all aircraft maintenance subjects in a Part 147 college curriculum. Including powerplants, propellers, reciprocating and turbine engine overhaul, supercharger and induction systems, electrical and hydraulic systems, reciprocating and turbine ignition systems, structural assembly, rigging, fuel systems, record management and reporting, interpretation of and compliance with Part 147, instruction and testing students is essential. Candidate must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology.
