Job Description
Job responsibilities:
Develop and perform multiple cell-based potency assays requiring long term sterile culturing.
Perform standard analytical methods such as, UV spectrophotometry, cell counting methods, microscopy and cell imaging.
Support analytical method validation for new products
Document test results and report abnormalities to ensure completeness and accuracy in accordance with cGMP and GDP.
Follows established SOPs accurately
Troubleshoot instruments and assays with limited guidance
Communicates scientific findings, provides status updates on assigned tasks in one-on-one discussions and within the team and department meetings.
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
Strong background in sterile technique and cell culture, preferably with BSL2 experience
Strong pipetting skills and understanding of cGMP concepts and practice.
Strong computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and communication (oral and written) skills.
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Ability to work independently once trained
Solid organization, scientific, computational, communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
3-6 years of relevant experience
