Job Description: As a Software Engineering Consultant, you will:
Participate in and consult on moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering.
Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Assist in resolving moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables.
Leverage a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years of professional experience with SQL Microsoft Business Intelligence tools, Data Warehousing, and ETL processes.
Experience working with business analysts, subject matter experts, and other team members to determine data extraction and transformation requirements and translate them into a data warehouse model for reporting and analytics.
Hands-on experience with ETL, SSIS, SQL Server, SQL, Performance tuning, Data Warehousing, SSRS, and Power BI.
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AutoSys, a multi-platform automated job management system (creating jobs, running jobs, analyzing jobs, etc.).
Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment with team members and partners in various time zones and locations.
Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
