Community Action Agency of Greater Kansas City is a nonprofit organization providing programs and services to low-income residents of Jackson, Platte and Clay counties, Missouri.
The Weatherization Manager is in charge of all administrative and managerial operations for the Weatherization Program. They will oversee office and field staff, assign work tasks and set deadlines for program goals.The Weatherization Manager willdevelop and implement procedures to improve business operations while supervising team members who perform work indoor and outdoor, exposed to all temperatures and weather conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Environmental Management or other related fieldDemonstrate strong project and department management experienceExperience understanding and complying with contractsAbility to calculate mathematical formulasExperience working with the publicExcellent communication and organizational skillsSome evenings and weekend hours requiredReliable transportation, valid driver license and maintain active car insurance
Essential Job Functions:
Manage department and supervise administrative and field staffEnsure all work performed is in compliance with all Federal, State and Agency regulations and guidelinesEnsure the program is implemented in all three (3) countiesOversee department budgetReport program outcomesWork closely with Fiscal and Quality Assurance departments to ensure compliance according to grantors guidelinesDevelop and maintain Standard Operating Procedure ManualDevelop and maintain sealed bids with contractorsEnsure contractors have certificate of insurance with worker compensation insurance included per grantor's requirementApprove payment to contractorsEffectively analyze and identify trends and provide feedback and reports to improve efficiencies and reduce errorsEnsure audits are conducted per funder guidelinesEnsure all staff maintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresPerform excellent customer service to participants, staff and vendors by telephone, in person and/or in writingEnsure data is entered accurately in database systemsAdjust to frequent change in duties and proceduresBe nonjudgmental and objective in working with clients, vendors and coworkersWork independently and in team settings and adhere to deadlinesWork effectively and efficiently in high stress situationsPerform other duties as special projects are assignedRepresent CAAGKC at special events, meetings and/or remote locations to collect and/or inform applicants of programs and servicesInform participants of other CAAGKC programs and services they may qualify forPerform any other duties as assigned
