The Hampton Inn, located in Cocoa Beach, Florida, is currently seeking experienced Night Auditors.

Summary
The Night Auditor performs specific night audit procedures related to accounting and shift balancing which, prepare the business day to close and then open business for the next day.

Essential Duties

Verify all account postings and guest billing for the day, making adjustments as needed to balance daily transactions.Run the actual night audit process on the property management system.Prepare night audit packet.Balance and transmit credit cards.Print and organize reports.Greets and welcomes guests.Assign rooms and keys.Maintains room availability.Collects and distributes messages for guests.Control room keys, certifing cash banks, make safe drops, prepare cash reports, follow credit card guidelines, and report suspicious activity by guests or others to ensure security for the property.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position acts as Manager on Duty for the overnight shift.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment, public and non-public spaces, including guest rooms. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. These work areas may occasionally be noisy.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.Prior customer service experience.

Preferred Education and Experience
Audit or accounting experience.
