Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities to include but are not limited to:
- Supervision all incoming inspection processes, components, and raw materials.
- Monitor employee efficiencies and back logs of items in inspection.
- Ensure that work effort, which has been scheduled, is accomplished on time and consistent with quality requirements.
- Ensure GMP compliance.
- Responsible for quality metrics.
- Contact internal and external customers as required – with a particular focus on expedited requests and “hot items.”
- Supervision of the disposition of items as either Approve or Reject for materials as required.
- Informs any OOS to management.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Reassign employees within incoming inspection team as needed.
- Ensure disposition of incoming items in accordance with Voyant Beauty Quality Acceptable Levels.
- Audit incoming quality process identifying weaknesses and corrective actions
- Track group attendance record on a daily basis and inform manager of any employee not meeting attendance requirements.
- Follow departmental procedures (SOP).
- Write work instructions as required.
- Assist in root cause analysis and follow up on corrective actions
- Identify opportunities investigate and implement initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement and sustain a training program for new and ongoing quality employees.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Quality Management.
Requirements:
- High school Diploma or GED preferred.
- 5 years-experience in a fast-paced cGMP manufacturing environment and demonstrated consumer goods product knowledge in lieu of diploma.
- Basic Math skills including but not limited to: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages required.
- Some statistical knowledge is preferred.
- Must have proven ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and communicating effectively via email and phone.
- Strong, Consistent, reliable attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work OT when necessary – including weekends.
- Preferred familiarity with raw materials and SDS
- Good Team building skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Excellent attendance record.
