Location: Elkridge, MD
Pay: $40k-$50k
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Duties and Responsibilities:
Negotiate rates and manage carriers for optimal freight solutions and timely customer returns.
Provide estimates, arrange pick-ups, oversee inbound freight, and manage claims for damaged or missing shipments.
Print and distribute production paperwork, update production boards, and track backorders daily.
Record key performance indicators and update relevant charts to monitor operational efficiency.
Import daily shipment data into Epicor for invoicing and maintain accurate freight cost records.
Requirements:
Must have experience with ERP for managing shipments and invoicing processes.
Highly organized and adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Domestic and international shipping experience is highly desired.
Previous shipping experience required.
