Responsibilities:
Perform duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical areas, including constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, and testing equipment and systems.
Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions to operate equipment, conduct tests, and report data.
Perform calibration, alignment checks, and modifications, and prepare necessary compounds and solutions.
Fabricate complex electronics with small tolerances, ensuring Quality Inspection throughout the fabrication process.
Qualifications:
Associates in Engineering, applicable Associate's Science degree, or Airframe Powerplant Certification.
4 years of experience in one location for in-depth knowledge acquisition.
Certifications:
IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 certifications preferred.
Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (required).
Skills:
Experience with hand-held multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench-top power supplies, and hand crimping tools.
Familiarity with military specification parts and tools for class 3 electronics fabrication.
Additional Requirements: A completed and passed eye examination is required for this role.
