Support the global leader in the design, development, and production of tracked and wheeled military equipment as a Manufacturing Engineer. Contribute to keeping our allies and soldiers safe by ensuring production processes are optimized for efficiency, safety, and quality.
Responsibilities:
Define and oversee production build processes, ensuring they are safe, effective, and efficient.
Identify and design test equipment and processes as needed.
Provide production support through day-to-day configuration and manufacturing process activities.
Develop and implement mistake-proofing solutions to prevent defects and enhance production quality.
Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce cycle time, improve safety, and eliminate waste.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new plant initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and the Whole Systems Business Model.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
Ability to meet ASR (Anthropometric Size Requirements) for working inside Military Combat Vehicles.
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and strong print reading skills.
Proficiency in using various measurement tools.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Supply Chain, Suppliers, and Customers.
Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency with computers and office applications.
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and manage multiple tasks to completion.
