Complete month-end closing tasks for the general ledger, including preparation and posting of entries related to prepaids, reclassifications, and various other accruals
Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly to ensure accurate financial reporting
Perform quarterly General Ledger activities, such as reconciliations, exception reporting, and other related tasks
Review, maintain, and implement processes to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Perform regular reviews of cost center balances to ensure accuracy and compliance
Provide reporting and analysis to the Finance Team, and other relevant functions as needed
Support the independent financial audit
Maintain appropriate internal controls
Provide general ledger support across Operating Companies as needed fostering collaboration and consistency
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
1-2 years experience preferred
US GAAP knowledge and experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent communication and organization skills
Ability to communicate accounting concepts to non-financial associates
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
