Location: 2700 N Richardt Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46219
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will:
Work in a way that keeps you and your co-workers safe at all times.
Troubleshoot, repair, and install building and manufacturing equipment.
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring, and testing instruments to perform maintenance functions.
Work with other techs and Supervisor to order replacement parts.
Communicate with internal and external contacts.
Maintenance Mechanic Job Skills and Requirements:
2+ years of distribution/warehouse mechanical experience.
Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs to 60lbs throughout shift.
Ability to reach diagrams, manuals, and specifications.
Some working knowledge of:
Electrical systems, air compressor systems, conveyor systems and components, as well as packaging systems, specifically Shanklin wrappers, dock equipment including pallet stretch wrappers.
Must be able to stand 8 to 10 hours per work day.
Comfortable with computer applications, including Google Docs.
Ability to work alone or in a team setting.
Possess organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
Must be able to work safely.
Must be able to bend, reach, pull, push, squat, and lift.
