The Training Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring employees receive the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Training Needs Analysis: Identifying the skills gaps within the organization and determining what training programs are needed to address those gaps.
Designing Training Programs: Developing and designing training materials, courses, and programs tailored to meet the specific needs of employees and the organization.
Delivery of Training: Facilitating training sessions, whether through workshops, seminars, online courses, or other formats, to deliver the content to employees.
Evaluation: Assessing the effectiveness of training programs through various methods such as pre- and post-training assessments, feedback forms, and performance metrics.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously reviewing and improving training programs based on feedback, changing business needs, and advancements in technology or industry best practices.
Learning Management Systems (LMS): Overseeing the implementation and management of learning management systems to organize, track, and deliver training content.
Budgeting and Resource Management: Managing the budget allocated for training initiatives, including expenses related to materials, instructors, and technology.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Working closely with department heads, managers, and HR to understand organizational goals and ensure alignment of training initiatives with these objectives.
Compliance: Ensuring training programs meet legal and regulatory requirements, especially in industries with specific compliance standards.

Educational and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree with a concentration in training and development, human resources management, organizational development, or business administration
Minimum of two years leading direct reports
Minimum of six years of experience assessing training needs, translating job requirements into training requirements, planning and coordinating personnel training, and developing instructional materials.
Minimum four years of experience working in Instructional Design and/or e-Learning Development
Preferred to have experience working in a regulated environment that adheres to FDA, ISO, and/or MDSAP compliance standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Maintain high integrity and confidentiality of company and department information.
Able to write and speak clearly and succinctly in various communication settings and styles
Strong proficiency in active listening, clear communication, training, and coaching.
