JOB SUMMARY Support the execution of Medline’s information governance strategy. Support the development and enhancement of Information Governance policies, standards, processes, and best practices and drive adoption through effective enterprise change management. Assist with the identification, implementation, and management of technology solutions that will support the execution of information governance practices. Communicate on the Information Governance program’s progress to various stakeholders through reporting and metrics. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES - Update policies, standards, reference guides and procedures to support the workforce in the execution of proper information handling and use of enterprise systems. - Develop written and verbal awareness materials based on the target audiences and deliver user education. - Assist with the implementation and administration of technology solutions that support the enterprise adoption of information governance (e.g. records retention tools, data protection tools). May lead the implementation of smaller initiatives. - Measure success metrics and monitor change progress (i.e. employee adoption) of education and awareness campaigns and the program overall. - Utilize tools and communication platforms used in the deployment of the awareness and training activities (e.g., intranet site). - Assist with writing and editing a communication plan for impacted audiences when process and policy changes are made. - Assist with the development of information governance program reporting to executive leadership and other stakeholders. - Drive workforce adoption and usage of information handling practices and technologies. - Apply change management methodologies to identify and manage anticipated resistance to change. - Build trusted relationships with cross-functional business partners including Communications, Information Services, Legal, and Compliance to ensure message alignment across the organization. - Identify and apply creative ways to reach and engage audiences. - Promote a culture of information handling in which individuals understand their role in managing and protecting their information and Medline’s information assets from threats. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Education - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Communications, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Work Experience - At least 2 years professional experience in or supporting information technology, records management, legal, or related field. - Experience deploying information governance, records management, compliance, information security, or privacy programs across a large enterprise. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities - Strong written and verbal skills, including a demonstrated ability to translate complex or technical information into concepts that are easily understood. - Proven ability to effectively interact with, manage, and influence cross-functional teams and partners. - Familiarity and knowledge of fundamental Information Governance concepts (e.g., records retention, data protection, data handling). - Experience delivering training to diverse audiences. - Broad use of Office 365.
