In this exciting role as a Sr. Clinical Data Specialist in our Diabetes Operating Unit, you will be responsible for supporting clinical activities related to post approval surveillance program.
The ideal candidate will be able to interact and coordinate across the organization with biostats, bioinformatics, marketing, legal, clinical, and project management, as well as communicate with patients to ensure post approval surveillance data is collected per requirements and with quality.

A Day in the Life

We offer you a position where you would:


  • Review and validate digital data collected from post approval surveillance surveys and questionnaires.

  • Generate, monitor, and follow up queries to resolve data discrepancies.

  • Assist patients with completing post approval surveillance surveys and questionnaires.

  • Assist in the development, updates and tracking of program related materials and plans (study plans, training materials, patient materials, patient communications, etc.) and ensure appropriate approvals before implementation.

  • Monitor, review and reply to patients' calls and emails.

  • Report adverse events and complaints to technical support as needed.

  • Interact and coordinate across the organization for documenting patient feedback.

  • Assist with payment activities as required.

  • Prepare and track data issues for status reports.

  • Ad hoc projects as assigned in the optimization of procedures and processes.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree and 4+ years clinical data experience

OR

Advanced Degree and 2+ years clinical data experience

Nice to Have


  • Certified Pump Trainer or experience training customers on insulin pumps

  • Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) / Certified Diabetes Care And Education Specialist (CDCES)

  • Bilingual (Spanish) is strongly preferred for some areas of the country

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, or on call periodically

  • Experience as a Certified Product Trainer for minimum of 1 year

  • Work experience in a regulated field.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Project management skills including coordination, planning and organization.

  • Passionate about learning and willing to work with a cross functional team.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$106,400.00 - $159,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
