Description: Our client has an opening for an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in Boulder, CO.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Generate comprehensive evaluation reports.
Collaborate with families, community agencies, and other district departments and staff to determine the eligibility of students for Special Education Services.
Collaborate with families, community agencies and other district departments and staff to develop compliant IEPs.
Demonstrate knowledge and skill regarding the components of effective instruction and intervention, Response to Intervention (RtI) / Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and the developmental needs of early childhood aged children (Birth through age 8).
Attend and facilitate IEP meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Master's Degree: Special Education (Required)
Certification: Specialist - Early Childhood Special Education Specialist - Colorado Department of Education
