Wege Pretzel Company in Hanover, PA is seeking 2nd shift Packers. This position provides stable, year-round work.

Prepares (forms) boxes, applies labels/stickers, and operates bagging machine to meet packaging and scheduling requirements.

Machine set-up, including film change, zero adjust and code dater setup. Prepares (forms) cartons for the packaging line. Box assembly and product/code date tag application Ensures accuracy when placing product in boxes and affixing labels for shipment. General machine operation and adjustments as needed during operation. Case packing, sealing, and adding a personal ID number. Pallet stacking Checks weights Tub waste tally Maintains records as required. Ensures work area is kept clean and orderly. Responsible for following all Company and government policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as, but not limited to: GMPs, food safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc. Adheres to common safety practices including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing as required. Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Must have the ability to read, write and understand English and have basic math skills in order to satisfactorily complete job requirements. Requires good communication skills.
