SUMMARY & SCOPE: The position is to facilitate the machine prep, manufacturing, diagnosis, and repair/rebuild of Standard Equipment, Strapping Heads, and Strapping tools processed through our various service operations centers. This position includes responsibilities of Continuous Improvement goals, conformity to corporate procedures and processes, and providing a high degree of quality workmanship. The employee may also be required to work cross departmentally on specific daily, weekly, and monthly projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adherence to the Safety related aspects of the position and area working within.
Have a strong electrical troubleshooting skill level.
Have a strong Mechanical troubleshooting skill level.
Apply sound mechanical and electrical diagnosis of electro-mechanical equipment.
Work closely with other team members to Improve and grow our Tool and Head repair operations
To have good Communication and Teamwork skills.
To be able to provide consistent and high quality of workmanship.
To adhere to established procedures and productivity requirements.
High Level adherence to work hours and be flexible to work overtime as required.
The ability to provide in house support for all Strapping Equipment, Strapping Heads, and Strapping Hand tools as assigned and trained for by Management.

EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to use a laptop, smartphone and other devices normally used in conducting business via remote access in various geographic settings.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
2+ Years’ experience in a manufacturing, Service, or other technical environment.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
The ability to operate standard shop and warehouse equipment and to assist others in the training to do so.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

The physical ability to evaluate operational needs and concerns related to industrial packaging equipment and Parts.
The ability to work in high stress and challenging situations.
The ability to Safely work within a production environment
Must be able to safely visit and evaluate a production environment which may include:
Hot and cold temperatures, climbing stairs, wearing required PPE, following local safety protocols, standing, walking. stooping for extended periods of time
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Environment can fluctuate between extreme cold and extreme hot conditions. Must be able to withstand either.
