Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer to support a government customer at MacDill AFB, FL. The ideal candidate will build advanced AI/ML models to integrate with existing architecture and framework and deliver algorithms for predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics, forecasting and free text query in an AI/ML Decision Support Tool.
Responsibilities
Build AI models using machine learning algorithms and deep learning neural networks to integrate with Command Common Operating Picture data repository to enable logisticians decision-making in near real time
Work with the Command Staff to ensure AI/ML workflows include Cyber, Knowledge and Information Management disciplines to enable the Decision-Making Process
Build predictive models using vast volumes of data and have in- depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning algorithms and frameworks
Build data ingestion and data transformation infrastructure to interface with the data repository application program interfaces (API) and build AI/ML models to enterprise standards for data sharing with joint enterprise systems.
Requirements
Master’s degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)
Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered (professional/military).
8+ years of industry experience in predictive modeling, data science, and analysis.
Knowledge of and experience working with LOGCOP
Active DOD Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
Physical Requirements / Travel
Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
May travel ~10% to conferences, program reviews, industry meetings, or other collaborative events. Most or all travel would be CONUS.
