The Quality Control Lead will have responsibility for ensuring product meets the established quality standards to include, but not limited to reliability, usability, and performance by performing quality inspections, investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues, collecting gauges for calibration, maintaining software and documents, supporting internal and external audits, and maintaining necessary inventory and materials in the Lab.
We are seeking a Quality Control Lead to support the Greencastle and Waynesboro, PA locations.
The Quality Control Lead will have some responsibilities in an office environment. This position, however, mainly requires significant time spent on the shop floor, which would include exposure to dust, fumes, oil, etc.
Required Skills:
A High School Diploma, or equivalent
Prior quality control/inspection, calibration and ISO/QMS experience is preferred
Proficient knowledge and use of computer to include Microsoft Office programs
Ability to learn and proficiently use additional computer programs
Ability to read and understand tape measure
Proficient mathematical skills
Knowledge of Company products and the manufacturing process
Knowledge and use of calipers and thread gauges
Ability to multi-task and be forward thinking
Customer Service orientated
Ability to read and write in English
Data collection analysis
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Benefits & Compensation:
Starting pay rate $20.00 per hour
Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
