Job summary

The Manager, Supply Chain BI and Analytics is a technically focused position responsible for the development of analytics, reporting and insight for the various stakeholders across the Supply Chain and Merchandizing teams. The candidate will lead a team of developers and analysts accountable for creating key process indicators and business insights to ensure superior inventory health across all nodes of NAPA Auto Parts' supply chain.

Summary of essential job functions
  • Provide oversight, analytics leadership, and guidance to a team of developers and analysts
  • Lead a team to deliver end-to-end analytic solutions within tight deadlines
  • Collaborate with Category Managers, Vendors, and other functional teams to ensure alignment with our overall business strategy
  • Design and develop scalable analytics solutions in pursuit of service, profit and inventory objectives
  • Responsible for the execution of test activities and address/resolve technical issues to align with business requirements
  • Knowledge of integrating source data, master data, and meta data

Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent work experience
  • High level of proficiency with Relational Databases, SQL, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Power BI
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing complex supply chain problems, scenario modeling, and articulating tradeoffs to business
  • Understanding of data modelling in general, dimensional & relational concepts like star- schema models, snowflake schema models, facts and dimension tables
  • Strong ability to lead a team on multiple projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing work and adjusting to changing priorities
  • 7-10 years of supply chain, logistics or operations experience
  • At least 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience
