Compensation Administrator

Job Summary

The Compensation Administrator is responsible for assisting in the daily operations and activities of USAG Compensation by providing administrative support to their immediate Compensation team and the broader HR organization. The role processes one-time payments, provides routine reports and analysis, and communicates Compensation procedures and processes to the HR team. The Compensation Administrator ensures the operational effectiveness of USAG's Compensation processes help drive USAG strategy forward.

Responsibilities
  • Provides general analytical support on both regularly scheduled and ad-hoc processes and projects that occur throughout the year. This includes annual merit and incentives, acquisitions, report requests from HR, and regularly occurring job and or compensation actions for USAG employees.
  • Works with sensitive and confidential information such as base, incentive, and payroll data, organizational changes, and the overall HCM system.
  • Conducts research, collects data, summarizes reports and maintains statistical information.
  • Conducts Workday audits and cleanups to ensure employees merit and bonus plan assignments are correct.
  • Manual entry into Workday for job changes or manual step progressions
  • Conduct regular audits of Workday job and employee information to align with pay type, bonus plans, bonus percentage, job levels.
  • Performs other ad-hoc request & duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Possesses a high degree of professionalism and high character (always dealing fairly with internal and external HR clients, employees, and vendors).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (possessing strong written and verbal interpersonal skills),
  • Demonstrated self-starter (proactive, taking initiative), have a strong sense of urgency to accomplish all company goals and respond to clients.
  • Able to handle demanding deadlines, manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and follow-up as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years' Compensation/HR experience.
  • Experience in HRIS, compensation, benefits and/or payroll.
  • Intermediate Level MS Excel, PowerPoint
  • Workday
  • General knowledge and understanding of current HR policies and practices.
