Overview
Clinical Activities (not related to teaching or research):
This faculty’s clinical practice may be separate from the OHSU FTE or may be incorporated into the overall OHSU FTE; this is part of position negotiation.
Scholarly Activities (research/writing, abstracts, grant supported work, presentations, etc.):
As negotiated.
Education Activities (include types of teaching and types of students taught):
Instruction and supervision in PNP, APRN and DNP Core courses as assigned.
Service Activities:
As negotiated.
Administrative Activities:
Participate in monthly PNP faculty meetings and SON meetings. Serve as an advisor for PNP students. Participate in student candidate interviews and admissions activities.
Other Activities:
The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.
Responsibilities
Education: (Degree dependent on academic program type and rank of position.)
DNP and current certification as a PNP is required
Registrations, Certifications and/or Licenses:(Current licensure & certifications could be required depending on position and academic program.)
Oregon RN and APRN license is required.
Experience: (Experience dependent on academic program type and rank of position.)
At least two years of clinical experience required; teaching experience at graduate level or higher preferred.
