Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Cleveland, OH that is seeking an Oracle Developer for an on-site hybrid, contract-to-hire role.

Essential Functions:


  • Identify business and technical requirements for requested projects

  • Perform feasibility and cost/benefit analyses for proposed projects

  • Perform complex programming assignments requiring an advanced aptitude of established programming standards, methods, and best practices

  • Design application and database components for development projects

  • Perform analysis of business models, logical specifications, and/or customer requirements to design and build Internet solutions utilizing multiple technologies

  • Mitigate significant risks associated with projects, which have a high technical complexity and/or involve significant challenges to the business

  • Maintain and modify Accounts Receivable, Credit Collection, and Email Management applications, make approved changes by amending application documentation, developing detailed programming logic, and coding changes

  • Track issues and manage tasks with JIRA, Maintain version control with GIT

  • Provide tier 2, on-call support for critical application problems and issues

  • Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of manager

  • Participate in hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employment opportunity policy

  • Application server maintenance tasks such as: software/hardware upgrades, patching, security configuration, batch process maintenance and migration to new platforms

  • Address internal audit concerns to address Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

  • Work with PL/SQL Types, PL/SQL Collections, SQL Loader, PL/SQL Functions and Procedures, XML, Packages, and Materialized view, Triggers, Complex SQL\'s and SQL Reports

  • Work with PL/SQL techniques in LOBs, Multilingual character conversion







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of IT experience

  • 3+ years of experience developing OLTP database applications in Oracle 11g and UNIX/LINUX/Solaris environment within a multi-tier environment; building and formulating business requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in development and performance tuning using Oracle Exadata

  • Hands of experience in JIRA, GitHub, ControlM, Micro Services/Bhoomi Services

  • Strong experience in handling large volume data movement and maintenance

  • Knowledge of Account Receivable system

  • Working outside the standard office 7.5 hours workday may be required; On-call availability

  • Optional: Knowledgeable and willing to learn and work on JAVA & J2EE development

  • Strong and comprehensive verbal and written communications

  • Responsive and alert to new learning opportunities, growth and development of technical, interpersonal and business skills; Able to recognize and address areas needing improvement

  • Motivated and competent to contribute appropriate time and effort to work needing attention

  • Attentive to detail with focus on accurate and timely results

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
