RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Business Analyst II in San Diego, CA.

Duties:

• IT Business Analyst focuses on improving operations that involve information technology within a company


• Offers consultation to management in an effort to help the company become more effective


• Analyze the hardware, software, and IT services that are being employed in a company; Analyses will have to be carried out in order to determine areas that need improvement; It is also important to have strong research skills in order to determine the latest trends and solutions


• Make suggestions as to what should be changed regarding company IT policies, IT structure, and IT operations; When problems are detected, the analyst should carry out problem-solving techniques in order to come up with a solution; When solutions are implemented, the analyst should continue to monitor these solutions to analyze their efficiency and to make continuous improvements

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience working with web analytics, customer care analytics, or product analytics


• Highly proficient in SQL, Python/R, Tableau, AWS Athena, and using RedShift as well as Experimentation (A/B testing)


• Experience in defining metrics and instrumenting data tracking


• Knowledge of SQL is important, in order to be able to analyze data from databases


• Should be able to carry out analyses, such as cost benefit analyses


• Excellent problem-solving skills and end to end quantitative thinking


• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines


• Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues


• Strong organization, time management and task prioritization skills


• Presentation and report-making skills to leadership

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
