RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Full Stack Developer in Boca Raton, FL or Charlotte, NC.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Full Stack Developer with a strong background in MySQL, Python, PHP, Linux (Ubuntu), AWS DevOps, and IAC (infrastructure as code). The ideal candidate will have a deep technical foundation and a passion for crafting integrated solutions to meet our company's evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:
System Development & Maintenance:

• Design, implement, test, and maintain web applications and services


• Develop both front-end and back-end components using best practices


• Create scalable system architectures

Database Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain databases using MySQL, Postgres and NoSQL


• Ensure data consistency, performance, and security

Work with Apache Airflow:

• Design and maintain workflows, DAGs, and operators


• Integrate with other systems and platforms as required

Linux & Server Administration:

• Manage, configure, and maintain our Linux (Ubuntu) servers


• Monitor system health and performance, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security

Documentation:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, API guides, and internal workflows


• Ensure all code changes are thoroughly documented for future reference

Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features


• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers


• Regularly communicate with stakeholders regarding project status, needs, and milestones

Continuous Learning & Improvement:

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices


• Recommend process and technology improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience


• Minimum of 5 experience as a Full Stack Developer


• Solid experience with Linux (Ubuntu) system administration


• Strong proficiency in Python, PHP, and MySQL; Experience with Apache Airflow is essential


• Deep understanding of system design principles and best practices


• Familiarity with other critical technologies, frameworks, and libraries relevant to our tech stack


• Front/Back-end API development skills


• Frontend Frameworks/Libraries: some skills


• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
