Job Summary:


Our real estate firm is seeking an adept and seasoned Microsoft Azure Cloud Architect. This role involves spearheading the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure. The suitable candidate will possess extensive technical knowledge in cloud architecture, a passion for innovation, and the ability to drive cloud adoption across our organization.


  • Cloud Architecture Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Microsoft Azure as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)

  • Management: Leading a small team of cloud and DevOps Engineers

  • Standards & Best Practices: Ensure alignment with the parent company

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with the Engineering team, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Compliance departments

Key Responsibilities:


  • Cloud Strategy and Planning: Develop and maintain the cloud strategy in sync with the company's business goals and objectives.

  • Design and Architecture: Architect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.

  • Migrations: Lead cloud migration initiatives including assessment, planning, and execution of migration strategies.

  • Security: Ensure compliance with security and governance policies by implementing stringent security measures.

  • Cost Management: Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization to effectively manage costs.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and applications.

  • Automation: Implement automation practices to streamline cloud operations and enhance efficiency.

  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture and procedures.

  • Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues.

Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Azure.

  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certification is preferred.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure-based solutions.
  • Expertise in database architecture with Azure Datalake and Databricks.
  • Strong understanding of Azure services, including virtual machines, databases, networking, and security.
  • Experience with cloud migration projects.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as ARM, Terraform, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 annually


The expected base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
