The Bulk Oil Distribution Specialist will provide safe and efficient delivery of bulk liquefied products to customers, maintain the delivery unit, build customer relationships, and complete safety initiatives. As a Bulk Oil Distribution Specialist, you will:

• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products


• Efficiently deliver bulk liquid products and monitor customer tanks and operations


• Builds strong, positive relationships with our customer base (internal and external), while continuously looking for opportunities to grow the market


• Performs routine leak checks on customer and company tanks and associated equipment as needed


• Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures


• Maintains a current and accurate record of customer tanks to include inspection dates and leak checks


• Performs routine maintenance and care of delivery unit and associated company bulk liquid equipment


• Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy


• Accounts for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

---

• 1+ year experience as semi-trailer truck operator


• Straight Truck driving experience preferred


• CDL Class A or B with clean driving record. Hazmat, tanker, and air-brake endorsements required


• Completed courses with certification in flammable liquid safety, delivery and sales preferred


• Previous bulk liquid experience preferred


• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions


• Ability to repeatedly lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as attention to details


• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines


• Ability to maintain a professional appearance of self and AVE vehicles


• Basic computer skills required to operate delivery software and keep accurate records


• Ability to problem solve in situations involving customers


• High School Diploma or GED required4+ years of experience performing service repairs; demonstrated experience consistently meeting performance metrics preferred
