With a passion for infusing her Filipino roots into every dish, Chef Ria masterfully embraces the rich and diverse flavors of the Philippines, seamlessly blending them with the modern American palate.


In this role, you will oversee Estuary, the rooftop bar, lobby lounge, and in-room dining managing a team of 15-20 and reporting directly to the Executive Sous Chef of Outlets. 


The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader driven to grow with the ability to drive the business forward through staff training and development, creativity, and strong organization. At least three (3) years of culinary leadership experience in an upscale dining environment preferably within a hotel brand.

Classification: Full-Time


Shift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays. 


Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this role is between $70,000-$80,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?


As Senior Sous Chef, you would be responsible for assisting in the direction and administration of the planning, preparation, production and control of all culinary operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:



  • Assist the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations, to include, but not limited to, preparation and production of all hotel meals, food quality and presentation, compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulation, team member productivity and performance, implementation of policies and procedures, cost controls and overall profitability

  • Assist the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef by interacting with guests and clients to monitor and assess satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly

  • Assist the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in creating and implementing menu selections for special banquet themes and events based on current food trends and regional tastes.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards

  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counseling and assisting with evaluations, training, scheduling and assigning work and delivering recognition and reward

  • Work alongside staff to ensure proper execution and timeliness of food production, providing hands-on support, as needed.
